What is Dia de los Muertos?

In preparation for Day of the Dead celebration in Mexico City, we are inviting you to dive into the history of the most important holiday in Mexico. During our Tuesday happy hour chat we will be sharing what we know, and what questions we might have about this iconic holiday.

This means you have homework!

Watch the Pixar movie Coco to get an introduction to what Dia de los Muertos is all about. They did a wonderful job telling a beautiful story while being culturally accurate to many of the traditions.

Start thinking about what surprised you about the traditions. What did you learn? Do you know what an ofrenda is now?
